SHIPWRECK STEW | |
1 lb. ground beef (cook until no longer pink) 1 med. onion, largely diced 2-3 potatoes, diced to bite size 2 c. chili or kidney beans with liquid 1/2 - 2/3 c. rice (add at beginning if reg. near end if instant) 1 lg. tomato sauce 1 c. water Combine all ingredients and simmer, covered, until potatoes are tender. Add salt, pepper or garlic salt as desired. If stew is too thick, add more water. You can also use 1/2 - 2/3 cup macaroni in this. |
