VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
3 bags frozen string beans
5 potatoes, cubed & cooked
1 lb. bacon
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 lg. onion

Cook and stir string beans and potatoes together. Fry 1 pound bacon in pan, save some grease fry onions chopped in bacon fat. Then fry 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup vinegar in pan until sugar dissolves, then add everything together. Serves 4-6 people.
