CATHY'S CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. corn starch or 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
3 egg yolks (reserve whites)
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients together, then add milk and egg yolks a little at a time until mixed. Cook over medium heat, until thick. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Let cool 5 minutes. Pour into crust (I prefer graham cracker). Beat egg whites, add 1/4 cup sugar when peaks form. Top pie and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
