CHATTANOOGA CHICKEN WINGS | |
1 pkg. chicken wings 1/4 c. vegetable oil 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1/4 toasted sesame seeds 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. ground ginger Cut each wing at joints to make 3 pieces. Discard wing tips. Place chicken wing pieces in a plastic bag. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium mixer bowl, beat until smooth. Pour mixture over chicken wings, seal bag and allow to marinate for at least 1 hour. Preheat broiler. Place wings on broiler pan. Baste wings with marinade. Broil 5 minutes. Turn wings over, baste with additional marinade. Continue broiling 3 to 6 minutes or until wings are golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Makes 20 appetizer servings. To toast sesame seeds, place on medium fry pan, heat on high stirring constantly 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. |
