SAN CARLOS PARK CHILI | |
2 lbs. lean ground meat 1 1/2 c. chopped onions (3 med.) 2 crushed garlic cloves 1 (16 oz.) crushed tomatoes 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. sugar 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans fancy dark red kidney beans 2 tbsp. chili powder or to taste 1 tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt 1 c. or more water 2 tbsp. flour in shaker for a little thickening Brown ground meat and onions; drain. Add 1 teaspoon sugar to tomatoes. Mix all together. Let it simmer about 3 1/2 hours. |
