APPLE DROP BISCUITS 
1 c. biscuit mix (I use Bisquick mix)
2 tbsp. chopped walnuts, optional
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. apple juice or apple cider
1/4-1/2 c. shredded, peeled apple

In small bowl combine Bisquick mix, chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients.

In another small bowl combine the shredded apple and the apple juice. Add the apple mixture - all at once - to the dry ingredients. Stir until dough clings together.

Drop the dough from a tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve warm (is better). Makes 6-8 biscuits.
