WHOLE WHEAT BISCUITS 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening (oil)
2/3 c. buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients. Add shortening and milk. Drop in small amounts on ungreased sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until brown edges.
