AUNT ANNIE'S RICE PUDDING | |
2 1/2 c. milk (scalded) 1 c. cooked rice 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs, beaten 3/4 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. raisins Cinnamon (as you desire) Pour scalded milk to 1 1/2 quart casserole, add rice and let stand for 30 seconds. Stir sugar, eggs, vanilla and raisins into rice mixture until well blended. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Place casserole in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Place pan in oven and fill with hot water to 1 inch depth. Bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Stir about 3 times while baking. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
