AUNT THERESA'S RICE CAKE 
1 lb. rice with 1 qt. milk and 3/4 qt. water
1/4 lb. butter
12 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 to 2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Rind of 1 lemon, grated
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Sprinkle of cloves

Boil rice in milk and water. Take off fire and let cool. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add butter and rest of ingredients; bake for 1 hour or less at 350 degrees (will be brown on top). This is especially good at Easter.
