LEMON CHEESE PRESSED COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Blend butter and cream cheese. Add sugar and cream thoroughly. Add egg, lemon juice, and grated lemon rind; blend well. Measure flour, then blend with baking powder. Add to cream cheese mixture and mix thoroughly. Chill dough for 30 minutes.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Force dough through cookie press onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until slightly browned. Makes about 5 dozen 2-inch cookies.
