LEMON CHEESECAKE COOKIES 
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour
1/3 c. melted butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together brown sugar, nuts and flour. Stir in butter and mix until crumbly. Remove 1 cup (scant). Press remaining crumbs into 8 inch square pan. Bake 12- 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Beat cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar. Beat in egg. Add lemon juice, milk and vanilla; blend well. Pour on top of baked crust. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 25 minutes longer. Cool, then chill. Cut into squares or bars.
