HAO NAO BROWN KAO | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 lg. onion, chopped 3/4 c. diced celery 1 c. sliced water chestnuts 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 c. warm water 1/2 c. raw rice 1/4 c. soy sauce Pinch of pepper 1 can Chinese noodles 1. Shape beef into large patty. Brown patty on both sides in oil in a large skillet. Break into chunks. 2. Add onions and celery. Saute 5-10 minutes. 3. Now add everything else except Chinese noodles. Mix together. 4. Spoon into a large casserole dish with a lid. 5. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes covered, then uncover and cook another 30 minutes. 6. The last 10 minutes, top with noodles. 7. Option: Bow to the East and throw some mandarin oranges into a green salad. |
