BLACKBERRY PIE 
6 c. blackberries
1 1/4 c. sugar, according to tartness
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, scant
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. flour, according to juiciness
1/4 c. butter

Prepare 2 (9 inch) pastry crusts. Combine sugar, spices and flour. Toss berries with dry mixture. Assemble pie, with dotting butter on top of berries before putting on top crust. Seal pie. If desired spread 1 to 2 teaspoons milk on top crust and sprinkle with sugar before venting.

Bake at 375 degree for 45 minutes. Uses 9 inch pie plate.
