CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream (1/2 pt.)
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. nuts
7 oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce

Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Add almond extract. Grease and flour tube pan. Put a layer of batter into pan and add 1/2 can of cranberry sauce then add remaining batter to that. Then add remaining cranberry sauce and chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
