JACK SPRAT BUTTERMILK PANCAKES 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 egg whites
1 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
2 drops food coloring (yellow) (opt.)

Sift dry ingredients together. Whip egg whites in a separate bowl until foamy. Add buttermilk, oil and food coloring. Add liquids to dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Drop small spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased griddle and bake until browned.
