LOUISIANA BUTTER PECAN COFFEE CAKE | |
1 c. sugar 2 c. sifted flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/3 c. soft butter 1 egg 1 c. milk TOPPING: 1/2 c. chopped pecans 2 tbsp. soft butter 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift first 4 ingredients together. Add butter, egg and milk. Beat well, about 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch square pan. Blend topping ingredients and sprinkle over cake mixture. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. |
