ROBIN HOOD BUTTER PECAN CAKE | |
2 1/4 c. sifted Robin Hood all-purpose flour 2/3 c. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. shortening 1 c. milk 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. finely chopped pecans Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Add brown sugar. Add shortening and 3/4 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes with mixer. Add eggs, rest of milk, and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes more. Stir in nuts. Pour into 2 prepared cake pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. |
