STRAWBERRY PIE | |
2 pt. fresh strawberries, cleaned & cut 1/4 c. sugar for berries 1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 c. sugar for glaze 2 c. cold water Combine Jello, cornstarch, 1/4 cup sugar and cold water. Cook over medium heat until thick and clear. (Just to a boil.) Cool for 1 hour. Clean berries and combine with 1/4 cup sugar while cooling glaze. After 1 hour combine berries and glaze and place in a 9 inch pie pastry that has been baked. Refrigerate a few hours before serving. |
