GERMAN BEEF PATTIES 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 1/ c. carrots (3)
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 can beef bouillon
1/4 c. lemon juice
3/4 c. water
8 ginger snaps
1 lg. pkg. egg noodles
2 tbsp. butter

Combine hamburger, carrots, onion, salt, and pepper. Shape into 6 patties about 1 inch thick. Melt butter in a fry pan (375 degree for electric) and brown meat on both sides (about 5 minutes). Pour in 1 can beef bouillon, water, and lemon juice. Finely crush ginger snaps and sprinkle over patties and liquid, stirring until sauce is smooth. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile cook 1 large package wide egg noodles, drain and add butter and toss lightly.

Serve meat mixture over noodles.
