BAKED LASAGNA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tbsp. basil 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes (2 c.) 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 3 c. cottage cheese 2 eggs, beaten 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 lb. mozzarella cheese 4 lasagna noodles Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat, drain off excess fat. Add next 6 ingredients and simmer uncovered for 6 minutes. Cook noodles, as directed on package. Combine eggs, cottage cheese, salt, pepper, parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Place small amount of sauce just to wet bottom of dish, then place noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, etc. in layers. Place mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes or until cheese melts. Then let cool for 15-30 minutes so you can get it out of the dish without it running all over the plate. Serves 12. |
