CHEESY SAVORY MUFFINS 
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. unbleached flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Pinch black pepper
1 tsp. summer savory
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped chives

Beat eggs, oil and milk in large bowl. Fold dry ingredients into egg mixture. Stir in cheese and chives. Spoon batter into greased muffin pan and bake 15-20 minutes. Makes 12.
