FROZEN ITALIAN SAUSAGE WITH SPAGHETTI | |
This is a good backup dinner incase family stops by or you forget to defrost. 1 lb. Italian sausage (frozen or not) olive oil 1/2 cup chopped onions 1 (24 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 1 (16 oz.) pkg. spaghetti noodles grated Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling (optional) In a pan add oil to coat pan just a little. Put frozen sausage in pan cook till they thaw (break apart from each other) keep turning sausage to brown it. Remove sausage and cut into pieces - the center will not be cooked yet. Put them back in the pan and add onions (you can buy frozen onions for this). Cook till onions are cooked a little. Add sauce to pan and simmer (you do not have to use all the sauce). Cook spaghetti in a different pot. Put cooked noodles in bowl and add sausage and sauce mixer, then add cheese if desired. Submitted by: Jamie |
