ORANGE BUTTER CAKE 
3 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. orange juice
1 c. butter
3 tsp. orange flavoring
4 eggs

BUTTER SAUCE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
3 tbsp. orange juice
2 tsp. orange flavoring

Use solid shortening and grease and flour tube or fluted pan. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except Butter Sauce. Blend at low speed until moistened, then beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour into pan and bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 75 minutes.

In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and orange juice; heat until butter melts; add flavoring.

Prick hot cake deeply with fork. Pour hot butter sauce over hot cake. Cool, then turn onto plate.
