CHERRY - O - CREAM CHEESE PIE 
1 9" crumb crust or 9" baked pastry shell, cooled
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Borden cream cheese
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (15 oz. can)
1/3 c. fresh or bottled lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling or Cherry Glaze

Let cream cheese soften to room temperature. Add condensed milk and beat until well blended. Add lemon juice and vanilla. Blend well. Pour into crust. Let chill awhile and put cherry pie filling over it. When ready to serve. Put 8 ounce package Cool Whip over it. It is also real good with strawberries or other fruits besides cherries.

TO MAKE THE GLAZE:

1 can fruit, drained
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. fruit juice

Cook until thick. Let cool before putting on pie.
