POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. syrup
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vinegar
3 qts. popped corn

Combine sugar, syrup, vinegar and salt. Cook to hard stage, 260 degrees. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour slowly over popcorn, which has been sprinkled with salt. Mix thoroughly to coat kernels. Form quickly into a ball, 3-inches in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper.
