1/2 lb. ground beef
1 (31 oz.) pork and beans
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
4 slices bacon cut in half

Cook ground beef until browned stirring to crumble. Drain well. Combine beef and next 6 ingredients. Stir well. Spoon mixture into lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Arrange bacon on top of beans. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Serves 8.
