BUL KO KO (KOREAN) | |
1 lb. tender beef sirloin 3 tbsp. soy sauce 3 tbsp. sesame oil 1-2 green onions, chopped fine 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds, ground fine 2 tbsp. fresh ginger, peeled and minced Pinch of pepper Cut beef crosswise into 1/8 inch slices, 2 or 3 inches long. Cut off most of the fat. Prepare by stirring the rest of the ingredients well. Put meat in marinade and stir well to coat pieces. Leave beef in refrigerator for several hours, stirring occasionally. Remove meat from marinade. Broil quickly over charcoal or gas grill, or fry in hot frying pan at 375 degrees in a little oil. Serves 4-6. |
