FLANK STEAK (KOREAN STYLE) 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. flank steak
1/4 c. corn oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Mix all ingredients and marinate steak overnight, turning once. Preheat broiler. Place meat on broiler pan or barbeque. Warm remaining marinade in pan to a boil. Serve over mashed potatoes. Serves 4 to 6.
