YAM CASSEROLE DELIGHT 
3 c. cooked, mashed yams
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

1/2 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix first 7 ingredients together until well blended. Pour into a buttered baking dish approximately 10 inches square and 2 to 3 inches deep. Sprinkle with topping and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

TOPPING: Melt butter and stir in brown sugar. Add self-rising flour, then the nuts. Mix until "crumbly" for sprinkling on yams.
