CHERRY BARS 
1 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. confectioners sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. quartered maraschino cherries.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, flour and confectioners sugar until smooth. Spread into ungreased 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Press down, bake 25 minutes. Stir rest of ingredients into eggs. Spread over baked pastry (No need to cool). Bake 25 minutes; cool; cut into bars. Make ahead and freeze. Cut into bars, wrap and freeze.
