BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lb. stew beef
1 large onion
6-8 potatoes
3-4 carrots
1/2 stick butter
garlic salt
ground cloves

Cube beef in bite size pieces. Flour and brown in skillet. Season with garlic salt and cloves while browning. Fill stew pot, Dutch oven, 1/2 with water and 1 teaspoon bouillon. Dice onions and combine with beef. Let simmer for 2 or 3 hours. Add cut carrots and potatoes into bite size pieces. Add 1/2 stick butter and simmer until vegetables are fully cooked.
