COOKED BLUE GROUSE 
2 blue grouse
Flour
Shortening
Salt and pepper
1-2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Melt little bit of shortening in bottom of skillet. Debone grouse. Flour grouse and set in skillet. Let brown on all sides. Add cream of mushroom soup to grouse. A little milk may be added to keep moist. Simmer 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Make sure you keep lots of moisture in skillet while frying.
