CANDIED SWEET POTATOES | |
2 medium sweet potatoes 1/4 c. water 1 c. sugar dash of cinnamon 1/2 stick butter Peel and slice potatoes. Place in a heavy skillet. Add butter, water and sugar and bring to a boil. Turn heat down and slowly cook for approximately 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender with a medium to thin syrup. Cover with lid while cooking. |
