SHORT RIBS OF BEEF 
3 lbs. short ribs of beef
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 med. onions, sliced
1/2 c. cold water

Place short ribs in Dutch oven. Pour combined mustard, salt, pepper, chili powder, sugar, lemon juice, oil, garlic, water and a few onion slices on top of meat. Place in a quick oven for 1/2 hour at 400 degrees or until brown. Add the remaining sliced onions. Cover tightly. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees and continue cooking until meat is tender, about 2 hours.
