HAZEL'S BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. All-Bran
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Mix All-Bran and milk and set aside. Mix shortening and sugar and cream well. Add egg and continue creaming. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in bran and milk mixture. Place in greased muffin tin. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until browned.

Makes 12 muffins.
