FREEZER SLAW 
1 gal. cabbage, cut for slaw
2 tbsp. salt in cabbage

Let stand one hour. 1 sweet pepper, chopped

After one hour, squeeze cabbage out, add carrots and peppers.

SYRUP:

4 c. sugar
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. mustard seed
2 c. vinegar
1 c. water

Mix together all ingredients, bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Set aside to cool. Pour syrup over vegetables. Mix, let stand 1/2 hour. Pack in container and freeze. To use: thaw, drain off juice. Mix with slaw dressing or use as is.
