FREEZER COLESLAW | |
1/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. cider vinegar 1/3 c. oil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. caraway seed (optional) 3/4 lb. or 4 packed cups chopped or shredded cabbage 1 c. carrots, shredded Great for small families and single folks! Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and caraway. Add vegetables. Freeze up to six months in freezer bags or containers. Thaw overnight in refrigerator and toss well before serving. May also be served without freezing, allow to marinate refrigerated several hours prior to serving. |
