WORLD'S BEST DROP COOKIE 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Melt shortening, stir in sugar; mix well. Cool a few minutes. Stir in eggs. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Allow to cool slightly before lifting off cookie sheet. This is the only hard part. You may have to return them to the oven to soften again until you get the hang of it.
