SOUR CREAM DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
12 oz. chocolate chips (2 c.)
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 375.

Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add sour cream, vanilla, egg and melted chocolate. Mix well. Add flour, baking powder and soda. Mix well. Stir in remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips. Add chopped nuts if desired. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-10 minutes. Cool 1 minute.
