CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lb. ground round, browned
1/2 head med. size cabbage, cut up
2 (No. 2) cans red kidney beans
2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes, cut up
2 cans beef broth
1 can tomato juice
Salt and pepper to taste
5-6 tbsp. sugar

Serve with rye bread or crackers.
