OATMEAL PIE 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. very cold milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. pancake syrup
1 c. butter, melted
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. ground or chopped walnuts or pecans
2 eggs, plus pinch of salt

Put first 3 ingredients into pie pan. Make a well and add the very cold milk and the oil. Mix in pan (no rolling) form into pan shape. For the filing beat together sugar, syrup, butter, and oatmeal. Add egg and salt, beating well. Pour into pie crust. Top with nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
