6 med. red bell sweet peppers, chopped

1 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. cayenne
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 1/2 c. water or stock
1/2 c. apple juice
1/4 c. tomato paste
