1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nut meats
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Cream together butter and cheese. Stir together flour, salt, and pepper. Add cheese, butter and nut meats. Make 2 rolls and wrap in wax paper; chill. Cut into thin slices and place together on cookie sheet.

Bake 325°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.
