KOLACKY 
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 tsp. mace
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. lukewarm milk
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
4 c. flour

Bake 10 to 15 minutes in 375 degree oven.

FILLING: Use apricot, cherry, prune or pineapple, Solo brand filling.

In a quart bowl put lukewarm milk, sugar and dry yeast; mix well until yeast is dissolved. In a large bowl put melted butter and the eggs, vanilla, mace and salt, alternately add the milk and flour. Mix until well blended. Let stand in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Roll out dough on well floured board, roll to 1/2" thickness and cut with round cookie cutter, place on well greased pans. Make a dent in center of each kolacky and put about a teaspoon of filling on each. Let rise until double. Then bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
