DELICIOUS BEER CAN CHICKEN
Deliciously moist chicken!

1 (3 to 5 lb.) whole chicken
onion and garlic powder, for sprinkling
1 (12 oz.) can beer (your choice)
Worcestershire sauce
Soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
3/4 cup water

Preheat over to slow (240°F).

First, clean chicken in cold water. Lay on flat pan put both sauces over chicken then sprinkle onion and garlic powder over chicken. Let it sit.

Pour half a can of beer into an 8x8-inch baking pan. Add some soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce to beer can to fill about 3/4 full.

Add both sauces to the pan along with 3/4 cup of water. Add seasonings in too. Lastly place the can of beer in chicken cavity and prop up like a tripod with the legs so chicken does not tip over.

Recap: So now your chicken should be seasoned, your pan should have beer, sauces and seasonings in it and you should have can of beer in chicken.

Finally, throw it in the oven at a slow temperature of 240°F for 2 to 3 hours until chicken reaches an inside temperature of 175°F on a meat thermometer.

I'm with Derek on this one. But I always use TWO cans of beer - one for the chicken and one for me! Enjoy!
