BROWN BREAD 
4 eggs
4 c. brown sugar
2 c. shortening
4 c. molasses
2 qts. + 1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. salt
4 tbsp. baking soda
8 c. whole wheat flour
9 1/2 c. white flour

Mix all together and put into bread pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Yields: 11 loaves.
