FRESH PEACH CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
Dash of salt
4 peaches, peeled and diced
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter with brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Sift flour with soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating until smooth after each addition. Gently blend in peaches. Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
