CHOCO CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
4 c. old fashioned oatmeal (blended in blender until powdery)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
3 c. finely chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. In second bowl mix flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix all together to first mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into golf ball size. Bake 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 to 375 degrees for 10 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Let set 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Store in air tight container. Big round, soft and chewy. Makes 112 cookies.
