PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3/4 c. Jiff
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Heat oven to 375°F. Place foil on countertop to cool cookies.

Combine Jiff, Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat at medium speed with mixer, until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended. Combine flour, salt, soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Dip by heaping spoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie pan. Flatten slightly in criss-cross pattern with fork.

Bake at 375°F for 7 to 8 minutes and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to foil and cool completely.

Makes 3 dozen.
