KHCHAF (FRUIT DRINK) --ALGERIA 
2 qt. water
2 sticks cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
1 tbsp. sugar or honey

Bring water with cinnamon sticks to a boil. Add raisins, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in sugar and let it melt. Then remove the pot from the heat and take out the cinnamon sticks. When liquid is completely cool, refrigerate it for about 1/2 hour. Serve with or without raisins.
